Food was delicious and staff attentive and friendly. Our room was lovely and so cosy on a very cold evening. Bathroom/Ensuite was a great size and impeccably clean. Breakfast was included in our room rate and there is no one who would walk away hungry.

All rooms at 1885 have en suite bathrooms with a shower. Each room also has a TV and tea and coffee facilities. Offering increased privacy, there is an entirely separate part of the building, accessible only to staying guests. More than world class hospitality, it was like family. We arrived very early in the morning after an overnight flight and were greeted with a warm smile and a key to our room which had been upgraded. That was quickly followed up with a lovely breakfast and beer. The grounds and view was so beautiful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We slept with the window open and there was zero noise from the street... so peaceful. I will absolutely stay here for future visits to this area.

All parking is on the quiet village road immediately outside the pub. We do not have a car park. The owners were really nice, the food was good, the room was excellent…10/10!

The Woodman Inn is set in the heart of Thunderbridge, a small hamlet 4 miles south of Huddersfield. It offers free WiFi and free parking on site. All breakfast, including continental and Full English is all included in our rooms rates. Beautiful place for a wedding. Everything was wonderful.
