Can’t say enough good things about this property. Charming heritage place, centrally located in beautiful Holmfirth and with the sound of the river at the front. Our room was huge with a sofa, kind sized bed, a fantastic view and contemporary luxurious finishes and fabrics. An excellent breakfast was provided the next morning. We’ve been travelling for six weeks and this was the best room and best value of anywhere we stayed. My only regret was that due to visiting family nearby we arrived late and had to leave the next day. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The staff were excellent from arriving to leaving. The room was well appointed, ample parking, great food and in a quiet out of the way location. There is no lift however staff assisted with carrying the suitcases upstairs.

The building is a converted mill so there's lots of pretty, rustic features within the building. The bed was comfy. A fan and a hairdryer were provided. There were tea and coffee making facilities. We ran out of milk quickly and were provided with plenty more.
