Very warm welcome from Juana and Celso. Nice and cosy place to stay and chill. Celso will guide you to the best spots of taquile island from Pachamama temple, inca ruins, best sunset spot, to playa. They are great host with big heart. I truly recommend staying with them. They will tell you everything about island history, tradition, and more! Just remember not taking all your luggage with you ...cause the island is hilly and the hike can be a bit challenging with heavy bags.

Mario and his wife Juliana were so kind and accommodating. Juliana picked us up from the boat and Mario showed us around the entire island, informing us on history, culture, and fona and flora of the area. They also showed us local weaving. The room was beautiful and clean and we got to share a delicious dinner with the couple. I absolutely recommend this stay to anyone traveling to Puno area.NicoleYoung couple

Celso came to the port to welcome us and shared a lot of advice for us to visit the island and understand its customs. The dinner and breakfast cooked by Juana were excellent. The room was comfortable with enough blankets to avoid being cold at night. The (shared) bathroom was very clean. Would totally recommend a stay at Celso House for a full immersion in Taquile island!

They were very welcoming, they showed us around the Island and explained us their way of living (in Spanish). We stayed in a lovely room with private bathroom (with hot water). Also there were enough blankets during the night so we never got cold. Breakfast was included, but we did also eat dinner at the Hospedaje for 5 dollar. Lunch we ate at a little Restaurant in the Main Plaza. We really enjoyed our time on Taquile. The Island is worth it to spend more than just one day there.
