Situated on the High Street in the charming market town of Stony Stratford, this historic 15th-century coaching inn offers bright, airy accommodation with free Wi-Fi and tasty food.

The Cock became famous in the great age of coach travel. Travellers staying at the hotel and at the adjacent Bull inn would compete with each other in telling outrageous tales of the road. It is from this that the famous phrase “a Cock and Bull Story” derives.

Lovely little pub on the outskirts of MK. Cosy room in a converted barn, had everything we needed and breakfast was best I've had in a long while. Staff couldn't do enough, made a great coffee too.

Swimming pool was rather cool . I am registered disabled and floors very slippery - tiled slippy when wet . In our room 285 the bed was right by the door and I was awoken many times with people talking in the corridor . Only 1 pillow each - not enough - had to improvise with towels etc . Dinner in Harry’s Bar was very good . Breakfast was good but bacon was very dry and too well done .

Location for business park, value. Service from staff was excellent. The breakfast was particularly good and we did enjoy the very interesting Far Eastern dishes for dinner.

Convenient location for the M1 and surrounding area. The hotel is a typical Holliday Inn Exress, ideal for commercial travelling and short leisure breaks. We stayed there for a family gathering / stramash and with family members spread far and wide, Junction 14 the HIE was very convenient nd central. Staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Nice walk round nearby lake. Harvester Restaurant opposite.

The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We had a good choice of breakfast that tasted good. The one thing was the lovely brown bread. We had dinner in the evening that was very tasty and the staff were very friendly.

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the bed was fantastic and the staff were all great. The view from the restaurant takes your breath away. Dinner and breakfast were both beautifully cooked and presented. Recommend the rack of lamb especially.
