Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion is a historic grade II-listed coaching inn with stunning features dating back to 1669 and possibly even earlier in origin; much of the original building still stands. It has been sensitively restored this year, with the aim of providing a premium, contemporary English inn, with sophisticated charm and historic character. The building features a 17th century fireplace and exposed beams, it also has free WiFi and free on-site parking. The room was large, very clean and a huge bed. Lots of nice extras in the room like coffee pods, biscuits a small glass of sloe gin each. Very quiet and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices.

Free WiFi is available throughout. Lovely little pub on the outskirts of MK. Cosy room in a converted barn, had everything we needed and breakfast was best I've had in a long while. Staff couldn't do enough, made a great coffee too.

Ideal for a weekend away in a quaint village, the hotel has easy access to Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, and even London via the M1. Double motorway road closures on my drive to the property meant a three and a half hour journey became six, I arrived at 01:30 and had to get the owner out of bed. He was extremely kind. Amazing value. Breakfast is superb. Highly recommend!

This family-run Victorian coaching inn, set in the beautiful village of Waddesdon, offers comfortable accommodation with a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Guests can take a walk through the famous Waddesdon Manor. Built in 16th century French chateau style, here you will find an impressive array of art including work by Gainsborough and Reynolds. Absolutely everything - decor was great within the hotel. Room was very spacious as was bathroom & lovely & clean. Meals were great too as was the friendly staff
