Clean, comfortable, modern en-suite rooms with all you would expect in a hotel (let alone B&B). Breakfast was a highlight but also had an evening meal which was equally as good. Staff were friendly and accommodating moving our dinner reservation when we came in early and hungry after a day out biking

The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring the Northumberland National Park. We had a lovely time walking to and from Hareshaw Linn Waterfall. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The facilities included an indoor swimming pool and sauna, both of which were clean and well-maintained. The meals and drinks added to our pleasure, being delicious and promptly served. The facilities are excellent if you are walking or cycling etc. The kitchen facilities to make your own breakfast or dinner are really good and our room was so comfortable. Shower was great. Room was spacious and warm with nice private bathroom and very strong water pressure in the shower. The area was very peaceful, despite the adjacent camping site. Pleasant walk into town for sightseeing and dinner in one of the pubs. Enormous, comfy bed. Great stay for very reasonable price. Recommended.

We had a lovely big room with views down to the river and the lovely countryside. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with a good choice. Dinner was amazing, excellent food. Staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Especially Lee who asked us our plans and gave us lots of information about local places to visit including Hareshaw Linn Waterfalls which is beautiful.
