Welcome to Our Dutch Nest, a charming 1930's cottage guest house nestled in the Wassenaar-Zuid area. This newly converted and fully renovated retreat merges modern amenities and comfort with timeless and original architectural elements (such as original barn doors and thatched roof). Situated adjacent to our main house, this fully separate cottage boasts its own private entrance, ensuring utmost privacy for our guests. We are located in a green area close to forests, and beach.
We are a international family with a passion for exploring the world. Having lived in various places such as South America, the US, Belgium, and The Netherlands, we've embraced diverse cultures and experiences. We’ve travelled the world and have mostly stayed in short term rentals. Our professional backgrounds span the realms of Teaching and Marketing, yet our shared interest extends to renovating homes.
Conveniently located, Our Dutch Nest is a merely 10-minute drive from both Den Haag Centraal and Wassenaar Center. For family fun, Duinrell is seven-minutes away, while the cultural hub of Leiden is just 15 minutes from our doorstep. The new, charming, and popular Westfield Mall is also close by and just 7 minutes away. Conveniently, Schiphol Airport and Rotterdam are easily accessible within a 30-minute drive. Additionally, bus stops for routes 43 and 44 are 150 meters away, ensuring effortless connectivity for exploring the vibrant surrounding areas.
