Located within walking distance from the train station on the main canal. The bed and bedding gave me the best sleep in 4 weeks of travelling. Very good shower. The owner is very pleasant. The tourist walking guide provided was perfect to see Gouda on foot. Private accommodation at the rear of the main house. The kitchen was very well equipped not that I used it. Coffee, tea and milk provided.

Near the beach, with several restaurants nearby. We were there in early spring, so it wasn't a beach vacation...but this accommodation in Katwijk aan Zee is a nice quiet base from which to visit several important sites such as Keukenhof Gardens, Kinderdijk, and Amsterdam. And it was nice to be able to walk to the beach even if it wasn't summer.

You really have everything if you want to cook or do some washing. What we especially liked was the large living room with the kitchen. And you can rent bicycles, there are six of them. The surrounding of the house is distinctly pleasant, you can also use the garden - in the company of hens and sheep. There were only three of us, but I can imagine a much larger group to have an excellent time in this property. And last but not least - Paulette is a fantastic host.

Apple Tree Cottage - discover this charming home at beautiful canal in our idyllic garden is a historic house renovated in 2018 and situated in a quiet private garden in the historic town centre of Gouda. It offers a terrace and spacious and green garden with seating facilities. The property is 600 m from De Goudse Schouwburg It’s a really lovely cottage made with taste and soul. We had a very short stay but felt very good there. Bedroom is spacious, the bed is superbig and comfy.. The garden also have a special athmospehere. Hosts are welcoming and flexible.

Very modern clean house with ALL the amenities you could want. The host, Nicole, was very accommodating and communicating was very easy - even weeks before we arrived from Canada. The ‘information book’ she provided about the place was one of the best I’ve ever seen! The little breakfast/lunch restaurant downstairs was very nice, great coffee, food and service.
