A 10-minute walk from Nozawa-Onsen Ski Resort, The Sunrise Meiji-ya features 13 different types of natural hot spring baths near its property. It features Japanese-style rooms, drinks vending machines and a souvenir shop. Coin lockers are available, and free parking is on-site. Guests are welcomed with a sweet azuki-bean bun that has steamed over a hot spring. In addition to hot spring baths, there’s also a public hot bath at Meiji-ya. Rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor, with either Japanese futon bedding or single beds to sleep in. All rooms have heating facilities and a TV. Toilets and bathing facilities are shared. A Japanese breakfast is served at the dining room. Sunrise Meiji-ya is 5-minute drive from the Nozawa-Onsen Ski Resort, and a 15-minute taxi ride from JR Iiyama Station. JR Nagano Station is a 75-minute bus ride.

Japan“本館の建物は古いが、別棟はリニューアルされており綺麗な和室だった。おかみさんも優しく、予約していなかった朝ご飯を人数分快く追加してくださった。朝ごはんは、シンプルだけどおかずが多くてどれも美味しく、コーヒーまで用意されていたので大変満足だった！お値段以上の朝ご飯。また、お布団がふかふかで暖かかった！テーブルに置いてあったお饅頭が美味しかった！期待値を上げすぎないで行けば、最高の体験になるのでおすすめ。”
