Location is right at the base of the ski resort. Great authentic Japanese breakfast and dinner offered at hotel.

Nice place to stay. There is a small but nice onsen. The owner was very kind and helpful. The room was not that big but clean. It is only 2 minutes walk to the gondola and it is always open so convenient when you want to go out and have a drink or two.

Location is 15 metres from gondola building, 100 metres from free shuttle bus stop, Good drying room, spacious room, Japanese style breakfast and dinner also available ** Getting to Kawahiro** There is a free shuttle bus that from the Chou Bus Station (usual arrival point) to the Nagasaka Gondola, the hotel is about 100 metres from this stop and directly opposite the Nagasaka gondola building. It’s a big yellow building with no English signage and the entrance is on the side of the building.

The location is PERFECT. Right at the Nagasaka gondola, and with ski rental and coffee shops just a couple of minutes walk in either direction. It's also possible to ski down the road to the front door if you finished your day at the hikage gondola. We are fans of Thanx ski shop about 50m along the road, where you can leave your rental gear overnight The staff are friendly, the whole place is spotlessly clean, and there is a restaurant serving lunch and dinner if you really want to stay in.

Very authentic ryokan, spacious room. The staff were very nice. It was so close to the main gondola which was a bonus and it was fantastic not have to walk up the hill from the town. The breakfast was Japanese style and delicious. We paid for one evening meal which was a 7 course meal and also delicious but you do have to book the day before. The onsen was so relaxing after a days skiing.

Ski in ski out was absolutely invaluable - the equipment rentals are right on your door step! The breakfasts each morning were a definite highlight & the private onsen was luxe. We would easily stay here again.

This is a ryokan style hotel. The room is spacious and the futon beds very comfortable. The property is right on the ski fields which is great if you want to take a break and warm up during the day. Best thing? They have their own private ( for guests only) Onsen . Fantastic ✔️

Exceptional location for the mountain - literally as close as you can get to the main gondola. Can ski in to the accommodation. Very close to several ski and snowboard hire stores. Facilities were clean and as advertised - traditional Japanese rooms and a great internal onsen. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great - 7:30am sharp every morning breakfast is ready for each room. Shared bathroom as advertised but clean and only shared with two other rooms each floor. Washing machine and dryer available for a coin fee.

We stayed 5 days and appreciated that they prepared something different each morning for breakfast. It was enough for me since I do not eat much but it probably wouldn't be enough for someone with a bigger appetite. Nonetheless, breakfast was great for me and the staff were very helpful when asked for help. Very accommodating.
