Keli and Rúna are hosts at Langaholt and the place is all about what they like, personal and cosy. Keli is born here and he has been the head of the company since 2006 when his parents retired from the family business. Here in this beautiful area we take pride in comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant and friendly atmosphere. Your place – your home, while you explore the wonders and adventures of Iceland

Langaholt is a family run guesthouse located on the south of Snæfellsnes peninsula. We started in 1978 and the host learned from the best teacher, his mother.

Neighborhood info

Snæfellsnes is a 90 km long peninsula, 10 to 27 km across. Along the middle there is a mountain range and a majestic glacier on the end. On either side of the mountains you will find friendly towns and villages, a multitude of bird species nesting on treacherous cliffs, beaches of sand and pebbles, remnants and relics scattered here and there of times and ways of life long past. Langaholt is located on the south coast of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, embraced by fantastic nature. Around the glacier Snæfellsjökull is a National Park with gems such as: Svalþúfa, Djúpalónssandur, Öndverðarnes and Vatnshellir Cave.
