The location of the house was ideal in all aspects and it was a perfect getaway for family/friends. The facilities were top notch with a very responsive host. The staff is super friendly, they made everything clear and gave us recommendations. The location is marvelous, you can see the lake from certain rooms. Free parking is a big help, however I recommend taking the car to the city as walking uphill can be tiring.

Set in Bellagio, Albergo Silvio is a family-run hotel overlooking Lake Como, 15 minutes' walk from the city centre. Rooms offer LCD satellite TV.

Lovely view over the lake and hills from our balcony. Excellent shower, with really hot water and great pressure. Very good breakfast. The staff are very kind and helpful. Bus stop right outside driveway into Bellagio (5 mins away) or to Como if wanted. Very happy with our stay.

Located in Varenna and only 3 minutes on foot from Lake Como, Hotel Montecodeno is very close to a ferry boat stop. It offers free WiFi and rooms with views of the garden and mountains.

Absolutely stunning location on the banks of Lake Como in gorgeous, tiny Varenna. Our room had an incredible view of this magical lake and surroundings. Breakfast on the terrace of the restaurant was a lovely treat. Staff is efficient and helpful; although I speak Italian their English is perfect so this make it very easy to communicate re eg ferry schedules, etc.
