A very pleasant hotel, view of the lake from the balcony is amazing. Also, an excellent terrace for breakfast with the most beautiful view in Tremezzo. The rooms are small and poorly equipped, but everything is very clean. The staff is friendly. Recommendation: take a room with a lake view on the 4th or 5th floor and ask for a room as far away from the elevator as possible.
Featuring a shared lounge, terrace and views of lake, Domus Bellagio is located in Bellagio, 2 km from Villa Melzi Gardens.

The view from the Terrace Roof is stunning.
The staff were helpful even when I picked up a puncture in my car having just left the property.

Beautiful little town on the Lake Como.
Beautiful little town on the Lake Como. Not much to do in the town itself but it’s very well connect to other towns like Bellagio, Menaggio and others.
Quiet, away from tourists, perfect get away and the buzz of other towns is just a quick ferry journey away

Location was just perfect. Very nice pool and cocktail area on the terrace.
Room was nice with a view of the lake. Shower was slightly damaged not good. Breakfast was awful and dinner was very below average. I would recommended eating outside in some very nice restaurants nearby.

Great location away from the tourist crowds. We hiked up to the San Martino chapel on advice from proprietors and we’re so glad we did. Stunning views. Corner grocery store had everything we needed.

Poor value for money.
Poor value for money. The hotel benefits from the stunning location it finds itself in, but the service, excluding reception and parkers, should have been at the level required for a Grand Hotel (size of room, junior staff preparation, food)

The trip was incredible, but I wouldn’t recommend going...
The trip was incredible, but I wouldn’t recommend going during the off-season (Nov-Mar). There were almost no restaurants open, and their websites don’t update to show which are open and which are closed. So…lots of figuring things out at the last minute when the first 3-4 restaurants we wanted to try in a given town are actually closed.

I asked for a twin room with single beds as I was travelling with my 13 yr old daughter when we arrived there was a double bed with a cot !!
Breakfast is a free for all and although it runs from 7 am to 10 am there was hardly anything left at 0915 ...when I asked for coffee the attitude of the so called waiter was dissappointing .
The price for a long vodka and tonic was €22
The location and facilities are great but overpriced for what it is.
I have been to this hotel several times prior to covid ...doubt I will use it again
Great location with fantastic views across Lake Como towards Bellagio. Modern appartments with free car park around the corner and restaurants, cafes, bar and mini supermarket all within 2 minute walk. All the appartments are slightly different layout with the top floor lake view appartments the biggest and best. Helpful staff but checkin is at hotel Bazzoni in Tremezzo, about 15 minute walk away. Griante is a great location with scattered restaurants and cafes along the lake and 15 minute walk to Tremezzo.
- Great location and views
- Very good breakfast and personnel
- Amazing swimming pool looking out over the lake and at Bellagio
Even though the pictures are nice, this hotel’s state surprised us positively because everything is in a great state. The view from this side of the lake (and thus from the breakfast area and swimming pool) is simply amazing - and I haven’t found hotels that offer similar value for money around Como.
Couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to stay in lake Como (Cardenabia). It’s a family owned and run hotel. The ferry port is 5 minutes walk and the ferry to lenno ( villa baldinello) is 5 minutes away as well. I’ll recommend eating dinner here because it was scrumptious and a great value for what was offered. The villa grounds are beautiful as well. Breakfast was great and the rooms very spacious
The apartment was well decorated, charming and very clean. Lara was very responsive and helpful to us. We liked her very much. The view from all the rooms was great and we enjoyed the balconies. Lara sent me a lot of helpful information and tips before we arrived which helped us plan our visit to Como. We had a great meal at the Belle Isola restaurant on the ground floor of the building.
first impressions from the outside is mehhh. but dont let the outside scare you away. its a cozy typical traditional italian hotel (old style). the location is nice close to the ferry to go to Bellagio etc.
We had a room with an amazing view of the Lake Como amazing!!
the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was also good enough for us.
I would definitely come back here again
Clean, quiet, comfortable and a great location. We spoke most with Paola who was gracious and gave great recommendations. The breakfast is delicious - fresh breads, eggs, fruits and their croissants are amazing! The room overlooks Lake Como and was plenty spacious. We didn’t get a chance to try the dinner - based on reviews and our breakfast experience, seems excellent as well!
The best hotel ever, we love all. Amazing view, perfect location (very close to all famous villas) bus station under the corner, the same with the boat to another cities.
apartment is also so comfortable and clean, we have all we need at kitchen. A lot of additional pillows and blankets. There is also amazing terrace and balcony with the best view.
The location was perfect. The owner was super nice and the room itself is amazing. Theres a restaurant below that serves amazing food and its very close to the ferry going to bellagio . Its only 6 mins away from mennagio which is one of the famous towns of como. Its also super close to villa carlotta.
I was under the impression I was booking a HOTEL from Priceline and not an apartment from booking.com. There was NO ac which was not advertised either. My husband became Ill overnight due to the heat. The fan provided was disgusting and I have the photos to share.
Table on outdoor balcony, splendid view. Easy walk to ferry, wish we had spent more time exploring upper Griante and hike to St Martin. Was a good base for too short stay in Como. Regret not eating pizza at little bar up the hill, hope there is a next time.
Highly recommended. The owners of the hotel are very kind and hospitable and give a homely feeling. Meals are served at the hotel’s restaurant located on the lake across the road. Arrive at the hotel and Giacomo will already make you feel at home.
There was free parking and plenty of it! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room and the hotel were very clean. The breakfast was wonderful with a beautiful terrace to eat it on and a view of the lake. Our room also had a lake view.
easy check-in, comfortable clean room with amazing lake view, lovely walks along lake, and into the back streets, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. third floor, but has a lift, and free parking right alongside the hotel.
Highly recommanded!!
Spectacular terrace with exceptional view on the lake, Bellagio and the gardens!!
A beautiful historic hotel, very nice personnel, great location, close to the ferries. We loved our stay.
Hotel owner was nice and friendly. Gave us useful advices and warm hospitalities.
Room no. 16 comes with lateral lake view from window.
Free car park next to the restaurant.
Grand Hotel Cadenabbia is in one of the most beautiful locations ever right on the shore of Lake Como, and is literally next door to Via Carlotta with it's beautiful gardens.
Incredible lake view, a few steps from ferry stop “Cadenabbia-Traghetto”, modern renovation. Excellent value for money - half the price of a comparable 3* hotel.
