A superb view of the bay in Husavik. The flat is very convenient for the Netto and for refuelling, and the walk into Husavik itself is quick, and can be driven easily. The flat was clean and well equipped. Parking was free just outside the flat. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Husavik.

Our room in this guest house was on the second floor and had a shared kitchen and living room area that were clean and provided free coffee and tea. The guest house was centrally located, so everything was within walking distance - two thumbs up for that.
This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The views of the bay and the snowcapped mountains are breathtaking. The area's artic geology has been studied in detail by the University of Birmingham, and you can observe directly over 4 million years of geological activity. There is an excellent brochure on the matter available at the nearby guesthouse. This is a key location to explore Husavik and its surroundings. I'd recommend the whale-watching tours.
