Comfortable house with every supply available for cooking, towels, bed linen and so on. The lovely woman who opened to us didn't speak much English but gave us a warm welcome, showing us around and got the chance for an early check-in to leave luggage in the house and food in the fridge. We could feel the house was once a home and you can tell from any tiny detail they put much effort in making this a home away from home.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The views of the bay and the snowcapped mountains are breathtaking. The area's artic geology has been studied in detail by the University of Birmingham, and you can observe directly over 4 million years of geological activity. There is an excellent brochure on the matter available at the nearby guesthouse. This is a key location to explore Husavik and its surroundings. I'd recommend the whale-watching tours.
