Superb location and although no parking at property, there is plenty of parking very close by. All staff, without exception, were very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast is not available at the Old Picture House but there’s plenty of choice along the sea front.
The apartment was finished to a high standard, well equipped for self catering, the bed was extremely comfortable and the towels were super soft, thick and fluffy. The pub itself is well worth a visit with a good selection of reasonably priced drinks. The food menu looked good too but we did not get a chance to sample it as we were attending a birthday party elsewhere. However, we would definitely be happy to return to The Old Picture House for a longer stay.

Lovely place for a two night stay. The beach is only about 1 minute walk away and easy parking at the property. Welcome card and chocolates was a really nice touch. Good communication with owners and will recommend to friends and family.

Breakfast was well cooked but could have had little jugs of milk to have with the tea instead of a huge jug we had to bring to the table. The waitress was very pleasant.

Lovely welcoming hosts, good location, superb breakfast, comfortable room and we arrived early and were able to check into our room 3 hours early - was super helpful.
lovely little place. Very small but still lovely.
The tram ride is worth a go. We went to the furthest stop in Colyton and had a wander and drink in a couple of pubs, then went back to the next stop of Colyford and had a wander and a couple of drinks.
The wildlife you can see from the tram is lovely and all the drivers are knowledgeable and friendly.
Everyone seemed very friendly in the area.

We were there a bit early in the season so some of the eating places were not open but we ate twice at the monsoon Indian which was a `byo alcohol, the food was nice. We also ate in Sidmouth. Very easy to get around and buses very regular to Beer and Sidmouth and Exeter.

Seaton is a very quiet unspoilt place that is lovely for walks along the beach, the cliff park or along the wetlands. It is very much for the local population and not that much orientated towards visitors. The tram ride is well worth a visit.
If you want noise and discos don't go.

Easy to get around Seaton on foot.
Easy to get around Seaton on foot. Ragini restaurant was very good. Hideaway on seafront good for a cream tea. Yeungs Chinese takeaway excellent. When eating need to ensure places are open when out of season. Large Tesco/Aldi etc in centre great if you are self-catering. Tramway a good experience. Donkey Sanctuary a surprisingly good visit too and "free" not many of those around. A very relaxing & charming location.

Seaton Tramway was very enjoyable and a day rover certainly worth the money if you want to do more than one trip.
Seaton Wetlands was a wonderful place for birds watching and wildlife although you are not allowed to take your dog. The island hide particulary had plenty of birds while I was there.
Perfect location, close to the beach and the lovely little town.
Although situated on a main road close to a junction we were not disturbed at all by traffic noise.
The cottage is very tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings and was spotlessly clean with
quality bedding and towels and a very well equipped kitchen.
Our hosts were very accessible and extremely helpful.
We have already recommended Nutshell Cottage to friends who are hoping to travel to Seaton in the near future.
The driveway was great as I have a van with tools and stock. So perfect for security.
The home was clean and tidy the decor throughout followed a sea theme. Absolutely stunning.
Both myself and my colleague said they were the most comfortable beds we'd slept in, we travel all over the county staying in 5 Star hotels to B&B, this was the best There is a Great local village too.
This was an excellent pub/hotel. Our room, although compact, was very clean and beautifully decorated. A lot of thought has been put in to it. It also had a bath and a shower.
We also used the restaurant for an evening meal and, even though they had just recently re-introduced meals, we were very happy with the food and the service.
Highly recommended.
The location is good, beautiful countryside, short drive to Lyme Regis or Seaton beach, nice clifftop walks, wetlands and wildlife close by. The cottage was small, terraced, with convenient off-road parking and could have been very nice but let down by some key items.
We really loved this Hotel, such easy going friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our two dogs enjoyed it too and were made very welcome.
It is in a great position in Seaton. We enjoyed our stay very much, and hope to return
.Thank you.
Off season so Seaton was really quiet which was great for us. The apartment was very clean and had everything we need. The Harbour Inn in Axmouth is a great pub that has very good food and priced very well.
Breakfast superb. Hosts were very accommodating.
Property location convenient for Seaton and for driving to other areas of the Jurassic Coast. Highly recommended
