staff could not be more friendly and helpful. location was good, however no car parking could be reserved and local pub visitors used up the spaces.
breakfast was tasty even if the bacon was over-done.
In the centre of Lyme Regis, just 150 metres from the beach, the Royal Lion Hotel has a pool, sauna and games room. Some rooms have sea views and balconies.
lovely little place. Very small but still lovely.
The tram ride is worth a go. We went to the furthest stop in Colyton and had a wander and drink in a couple of pubs, then went back to the next stop of Colyford and had a wander and a couple of drinks.
The wildlife you can see from the tram is lovely and all the drivers are knowledgeable and friendly.
Everyone seemed very friendly in the area.

We were there a bit early in the season so some of the eating places were not open but we ate twice at the monsoon Indian which was a `byo alcohol, the food was nice. We also ate in Sidmouth. Very easy to get around and buses very regular to Beer and Sidmouth and Exeter.

Stunning scenery, beautiful location. Town just had no restaurants open in the week in the evening, all only serve Breakfast & lunch & then close or stop serving food. A couple small takeaways for evening week night food is all that is available.

Seaton is a very quiet unspoilt place that is lovely for walks along the beach, the cliff park or along the wetlands. It is very much for the local population and not that much orientated towards visitors. The tram ride is well worth a visit.
If you want noise and discos don't go.

Easy to get around Seaton on foot.
Easy to get around Seaton on foot. Ragini restaurant was very good. Hideaway on seafront good for a cream tea. Yeungs Chinese takeaway excellent. When eating need to ensure places are open when out of season. Large Tesco/Aldi etc in centre great if you are self-catering. Tramway a good experience. Donkey Sanctuary a surprisingly good visit too and "free" not many of those around. A very relaxing & charming location.

Seaton Tramway was very enjoyable and a day rover certainly worth the money if you want to do more than one trip.
Seaton Wetlands was a wonderful place for birds watching and wildlife although you are not allowed to take your dog. The island hide particulary had plenty of birds while I was there.
The location was perfect, good for trips to Lyme Regis and Beer and of course, a trip down to the beach at Seaton itself (we were there for three days).
The property is very spacious and comfortable and there is a lovely garden which would be great in summer to sit outside.
An amazing welcome pack full of lovely things from the local area.
The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with everything we could possibly need.
A lovely property and would highly recommend.
We wanted a location in Seaton so this was perfect. Big enough for six adults and three children. It was really well equiped with room for some private time if required. We were able to gain entry an hour early which was useful.
Thank you for the gift pack of coffee. tea etc. It was a thoughtful and welcome introduction to our stay.
A cosy place to stay in a nice seaside village. Ot is the little details that make you really feel welcome.
The breakfast is incomparable and againsvows the efforts taken my the owners to make theirs guests feel at home.
Thank you for your hospitality and two wonderful nights in Seaton.
Brilliant place to stay right by the sea

So much fun had by all
We really loved this Hotel, such easy going friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our two dogs enjoyed it too and were made very welcome.
It is in a great position in Seaton. We enjoyed our stay very much, and hope to return
.Thank you.
The room was lovely and beautifully clean. It was a little bijou however the fact we had 2 very big dogs with us was our fault not the hotels. The staff were very pleasant and the customers in the pub very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
Utterly quiet apart from the wildlife, which is what we wanted, a short drive/15 min leisurely walk to Seaton. The Water Tower Studio was amazing to stay at, we will probably come here again if we decide to come back this way for a short break.
A welcoming, light and clean Chalet. It’s in a brilliant location, close to all beaches, with Seaton being just down the road. Loved the decking which has a gate, perfect for furry friends.
