Beechworth is a great place to visit at any time however, in autumn the colours are spectacular and as a keen photographer, I had plenty to photograph. Never enough time to see Beechworth.
Never enough time to see Beechworth. Easy walking to the different amenities. Very historical town and well worth the effort to see what is on display such as the court house, Burke Museum. Great eating at night time in the bistro at the Hotel Nicholas, but book ahead as it was flat out. Meals were amazing and well priced.

Been to Beechworth before but it is just delightful especially in Autumn. Nice lot of shops and walks if you like. Just relaxing in the sun is always good. Lots of history to explore if you like. Lots of good cycling too if that's your thing.LizAustralia - 10Scored 10

The room was very large + you were able to open the balcony door to take advantage of all that fresh air. The site was clean, organised, offered great amenity, and had a beautiful outlook over the lake with a great walking track looping around it. Service was sensational. And it will be a great HQ for the annual trail running event Beechworth Beer Run every May. We'll be back to take part having explored the Indigo MTB on which the event will run for one day a year!
