This family-run guest house is set on the island of Heimaey in the Westman Islands archipelago. It offers free Wi-Fi. Herjolfur Ferry Terminal is 250 metres away.

Tea/coffee facilities and a TV are featured in each classically decorated room at Guesthouse Hamar. All have a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.

The room was big, quiet, extremely clean. The heavy curtains protected us perfectly from icelandic night light. The location is central, close to downtown and to the harbour, with the main attractions. The staff was lovely and polite: the girls gave us nice suggestions for bars and places to visit around. The breakfast was served on time and it included a variety of sweet and salty options we have been very satisfied with. We used also the luggage storage service, which helped us a lot! Higly recomended (and good job girls!!)

Very comfortable, and large shared facilities. The host was very friendly, and we had a long chat with some of the guests i the beautiful dining area. It had windows on all sides including the ceiling, so it was really enjoyable.

At the inn, each room has a desk. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, while some rooms are equipped with a kitchen fitted with a fridge. At Westman Islands Inn rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels.

Not sure why this place got under 8.0 review. The room is a little small but clean and new. For Europe standard, the room size is typical. The location is great. Right in the center of everything. Checkout process is simple.

This hotel was a fantastic choice for my recent trip. The location was unbeatable - super close to everything I needed, especially restaurants. There was even a takeaway place right across the street, which was perfect for a quick bite. Despite being central, the hotel itself was surprisingly quiet. Plus, everything was spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom, which was a real highlight.

Great location with easy parking after the ferry. Very welcome reception. Comfy and warm room. Shared bathroom was kept clean and didn't feel basic. Large kitchen with tea and coffee. All you need for a short stay on the island.

Quiet place, the room has everything one needs (except for kitchen or fridge). Great location near all the essential services. The code-system for doors works well.

This is a charming hotel in a great location. The deluxe room is well worth the price - it has lots of space, all the fittings are of high quality, and the view is beautiful. The breakfast was tasty and more than ample.

Small but had almost everything you need could have benefitted from an oven, but was great. Great for a one or 2 night stop, not big enough for longer. Great views, but was the most expensive stay of the holiday but without breakfast. We chose the best a place as it had a private toilet. There were cheaper places on the island and would hv chosen them if they had a private loo. I would recommend it to others if you need a private loo and want the views. Great views of elephant rock
