Lynne and her staff are so friendly and welcoming. They offer so many personal and thoughtful touches, Ashridge House really does feel like a home from home. The breakfasts are simply amazing.....a huge choice, perfectly cooked and presented, honestly didn't need to eat again until dinner time. The location of the property in the heart of the village is perfect and the private parking area is a huge bonus. The seating area in the glorious garden is a lovely spot to relax and unwind.

A cozy comfortable B&B run by a husband & wife team who are passionate about their accommodation and put their own nice touches to the place. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and there is a guest hall upstairs with fresh cakes and tea/coffee. Breakfast is exceptional in both the spread and the generosity, and there is even a special item which changes daily. Lynette is very helpful, warm and welcoming and her passion makes a big difference to a great stay.

Limpio, decorado exquisitamente, con vista abierta a las colinas. Cada detalle cuidado en extremo. Sus dueño super amable cuidando que cada detalle sea perfecto, ocupándose de toda necesidad, hasta nos facilito una reserva en el pub que esta a unos pasos, otro lugar familiar de excelente atención y comida. El desayunador y el desayuno excepcional. 100% para recomendar a todos. Una estancia perfecta, para repetir.

We were looking for a traditional B&B to stay at, on our way north. This place fits the bill perfectly. It is in a charming location in the Yorkshire Dales. Mary is a great host and made sure our stay was very comfortable. She cooked us a delicious full English breakfast in the morning. We didn't have much time there as we were travelling, but we were able to fit in a short walk down to the suspension bridge on the river Wharf and tea at the local tearoom. A very enjoyable interlude.

The hosts Sarah & Ian were friendly and welcoming you into their beautiful home, I would highly recommend stopping here if you would like to be in the heart of the amazing Yorkshire Dales, the home made breakfast was very nice and the bathroom was very nice quality with a fantastic shower one of the best iv used whilst away

The place was perfect for a couple's getaway. The room was beautiful in size and the added comforts of coffee, tea, fridge and breakfast was superb. The service was excellent and even went the extra mile when I left some items at the location with getting them back to me.
