The staff was friendly and helpful, when we asked about dining out or finding a laundromat. The full English breakfast was piping hot and delicious . There was also cereal and fruit on the side and lots of hot coffee, tea or cold beverages. We sat in the breakfast room and watched the boats go by. we also enjoyed the pub right downstairs for food and drinks.

I stayed in the third floor king room for one luxurious night while doing 13 days on the Coast to Coast Walk. Cozy with wonderful views of Whitby. The bathroom with giant tub and underfloor heating is amazing.

They offer so many personal and thoughtful touches, Ashridge House really does feel like a home from home. The breakfasts are simply amazing.....a huge choice, perfectly cooked and presented, honestly didn't need to eat again until dinner time. The location of the property in the heart of the village is perfect and the private parking area is a huge bonus. The seating area in the glorious garden is a lovely spot to relax and unwind.

Just 10 minutes' travel by bus from York Railway Station, Ascot House is a 15-minute walk from York Minster. It offers award-winning breakfasts, elegant bedrooms, free WiFi, and free parking. Absolutely splendid accomodation, truly classical in the best sense. One of the most pleasant and cosy hotels I have ever been at. Authentic good old times here.

El Minster Walk Guest House es una encantadora posada de 300 años de antigüedad con WiFi gratuita situada a solo 300 metros de la catedral de York. The place is superb. Our room was spacious with a large double bed I think was king size, bathroom was spotless and everything very well curated.
