It is very remote but charming, warm and calm. The perfect spot to breathe and releaxe during our tours through the westfjords. We felt welcome, as if we stayed with friends. I would recommend and we definitely will come back.

It was incredible experience, the owner is a very kind person and he told me about the story of the guesthouse, it's a very remote place in the Westfjords, this was my second time in Iceland but my first time in the Westfjords, and I loved my days in the remotest part of Iceland. Hopefully to visit the Westfjords someday again, and if I do it I will back to this accommodation again!

Has a big lounge area with comfortable seating and a big breakfast room. Breakfast was continental with a good choice. Our room was small but clean and comfortable with a mountain view. The bathroom / shower was good. Great location for Northern lights if the conditions are right.

The hostel was comfortable, on generations-old family farmland tucked in the mountains, and the host was welcoming and helpful. The maps with attractions were also helpful to get a sense of the area.
