Set a 12-minute drive from the West Fjods village of Flateyri , this hostel offers basic rooms with free Wi-Fi access, as well as mountain and river views. Dynjandi Waterfall is 72 km away.
Housed in a renovated farmhouse, all guest rooms at Korpudalur HI Hostel have access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, as well as a laundry room. Bed linen and towels are included in all rooms.
It is very remote but charming, warm and calm. The perfect spot to breathe and releaxe during our tours through the westfjords. We felt welcome, as if we stayed with friends. I would recommend and we definitely will come back.

wonderful little hostel with an amazing and eclectic group of folks staying there. clean, comfortable (but remember to bring a sleeping bag or you’ll be charged for a quilt).

Lovely place, a small home nestled in a small cluster of houses. Felt safe, warm and welcome. The swimming pool and hot tub across the road were sensational! TV was good and kitchen was well equipped. The shower was also excellent. Beds and even books and games provided for the whole family. We stayed in 6 different places up and down Iceland in a week, and this one was my wife's favourite.

I was the only one guest in this hostel that day. It was incredible experience, the owner is a very kind person and he told me about the story of the guesthouse, it's a very remote place in the Westfjords, this was my second time in Iceland but my first time in the Westfjords, and I loved my days in the remotest part of Iceland. Hopefully to visit the Westfjords someday again, and if I do it I will back to this accommodation again!

Super friendly staff and a clean hostel with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. We felt safe and the location was great, could even park our car right under our window for free.

The place has a great location in town and has really good facilities for a hostel, including kitchens and bathrooms on every floor and a room for washing and drying clothes in the basement. The room was clean when we checked in and the manager very kindly helped my friend carry her suitcase up to our room on the top floor.
