I enjoyed the stay very much. We were here for three days. Staying in the porch - fully protected with mosquito screens - was my favorite place to stay for breakfast and dinner, but also late at night in the dark, listening to all the sounds of nature. The apartment is very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, we were pleased to find that it even had an oven and dishes for the oven were also available. The bathroom with its many shelves was great. The location is good for exploring the Everglades, checking out Fakahatchee Strand State Reserve or Big Cypress National Preserve. Some wildlife was on sight right outside our front door: Alligators swimming in the river, the Ospray hunting fish on the opposite river bank in the morning, or the brown pelicans making a couple of rounds across the river in the evening (see fotos) I felt very comfortable and will plan a longer stay next time.

We liked everything about the city of Everglade City and enjoy the heck out of us to stay here in town just the arrangements that came into play getting here was confusing and directions were extremely poor
