The apartment was very inviting and cosy. Had everything we needed for our stay. Maria is very friendly, told us about the history of the village. Breakfast was a huge selection, including fruits, homemade cakes, and jams. Highly recommended, you won't regret it.

It is in a 600 year old village and it seems little has changed. The house was spacious and authentic, with air con. Experiencing the historical significance of the village gave a brief insight in life in yesteryear.

Everything, the house and all the amenities (swimming pool), the village, the restaurant "O poço". Peaceful and relaxing area, but a car is needed, no transports on the village.

The house was well decorated and clean. typical Alentejo furniture. Spacioous rooms. 2 floors, kitchen and a nice patio in the back. Breakfast is traditional portuguese: good Alentejo bread, ham, cheese, 8 different jams, 4 varieties of home made cakes, fruits, cereals, milk, tea, coffee. The hostess is an excelent comunicator and explained us a lot about the history of Brotas and all the things we could do around it. The swimming pools are in a different area of the village but in walking distance and in a quiet and interesting spot.
