The location was in a quiet cul-de-sac in a traditional village. Our host was very responsive to any request. The location was not touristy, but within easy reach of good beaches and places of interest.

Our stay at Villa Vigles was amazing, a few days in paradise. We have been hosted by Georgio who is great, very welcoming, friendly and helpful (lots of tips for the area, restaurants etc...). He also had a lot of little attentions during our stay. The villa is amazing: lots of space, clean, confortable, great view from the garden & bedrooms, peacefulness throughout the day (and evening) in the garden and really nicely decorated. One of us was injured and it was great to have a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor! The location is ideal to explore the nice beaches of Creta (Matala, Komos, Kalamaki...), alternatively if you want to relax in the villa, the house offers great confort: from the infinite pool, to the large garden which offers a lot of shade during warm cretan summer. There are several taverns at walking distance (5 to 10min) and if you'd rather stay home, the house is fully equipped to cook (kitchen is large with everything needed). Having dinner on the terrace is amazing. There is a big supermarket at 3/4km away.

The villa is a beautiful stone house converted from an oil factory. The house is very spacious, has air conditioners in every room, fully equipped and comfortable kitchen. The host welcomed us to the property and prepared for us fruits, vegetables, oil, raki and wine to welcome us. I recommend the nearby town of Voroi, the restaurant and cafes on the market square, the meat and cheese store where a nice old lady sells. It is a rural area where you can experience the true spirit of Greece and real people. The southern part of Crete is a place away from the hustle and bustle with beautiful beaches. I recommend Matal and Agia Gallini.

This was by far the best accommodation we stayed whilst travelling around Crete. The house is spacious, very well furnished with lots of lovely details and decorations. A must for everyone who loves and appreciates historic buildings. On arrival we met Maria and her husband Ioannis showing us the house and lovely garden. They told us about the history of the house and Maria prepared a lovely Cretan meal for us, thank you so much. The small village of Voroi is perfectly located close to several places of interest (Phaistos, Gortyn, Matala, Kommos beach, Agia Galini etc). There is a very good tavern and kafenion, a bakery and small supermarket. The Museum of Cretan Ethnology in the village is worth a visit too. We would love to come again.

Appartamento molto grazioso con tutto ciò di cui si può aver bisogno. La camera da letto ha un letto francese , mentre nell'altra stanzetta vi sono due letti francesi a castello. Bagno molto piccolo ma per una famiglia o una coppia gli spazi risultano buoni. Self check in veloce anche se preferisco gli incontri vis a vis. Proprietario comunque disponibile tramite whatsapp e molto reattivo.
