Located directly at the shore of Lake Traun, Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt offers a private beach area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Very nice hotel right on the lake :). There are wonderful views from the room! We were pleasantly surprised by the heated floor in the bathroom, which is spacious and practical. Hotel staff very nice and friendly! We will definitely be back soon. :)

Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl. Absolutely everything. The location was stunning, the facilities were top notch, the service was personalised and impeccable. Our room (the family room) was straight out of an interior design magazine and the breakfast was great. We dined several times at the hotel restaurant which was adjacent to it and is also run by the family - and it was delicious. There was a big park with a trampoline and other games to keep the little one entertained and the roofed, heated pool was a big hit also. There was a lovely garden to have tea and cake in (home made cakes, coffee and tea were available from 2 to 4 pm at no extra cost) and also to read a good novel and lose yourself in the scent of the flowers and the sound of the feature fountain. The gentleman who runs it has high attention to detail and was very kind and attentive. We had to leave before the usual breakfast time so he got up one hour earlier to make a full breakfast just for us! He made sure our stay was excellent and we will definitely be coming back next year! Many a hotel owner/ hotel chain manager should visit and take notes on how to run a place to an absolute high standard.

Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. We loved the views, the spa area and general calm of the hotel. The chef is absolutely incredible and still has us raving about the dinners we had.

Situated in Ebensee, the recently renovated Appartement Bergmann features accommodation 18 km from Kaiservilla and 37 km from Museum Hallstatt. Everything ok. Very good location. Very helpful and nice owner.

Just 1,000 metres from the Toscana Congress Centre and Seeschloss Palace, the Aktivhotel Wildschütz in Salzkammergut was renovated in 2015 and offers quiet rooms with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi and... Such amazing and cute place! We loved it! The room was very clean, they offer gym and sauna for free, and there is also nice bar inside the hotel if you wanna drink some beer with good music. The team is very kind and helpful. They give you lot of information about places to visit in the area. There is also free parking and good wifi connectivity. In my opinion the images not really show how awesome is this place. They have old part of the building, so maybe they didn’t update the images of the new part. Highly recommend!

Boutiquehotel Zum Goldenen Hirschen is located close the heart of the city of Gmunden, cross the Traun bridge with best lake view. Very nice big room with 2 French balconies looking in inner courtyard.Nice clean hotel,smells like new.Hotel where meet the past with the modern.Very nice,friendly staff,reception.Good location near to the center,to the Traunsee, Grünberg cable car....
