It is a relative new establishment. The location, ambience, cleanliness, hospitality and behavior of all staff deserves special mention. The indoor games facilities, adventure games and spa facilities were all excellent. All the staff were very supportive and friendly displaying pleasant attitude. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

The room was very spacious and clean, the bed is massive. Its very new and modern. The bathroom was the best one we had during the whole trip. Girish and Sunila are such nice people. They were so helpful. Girish helped us organise our trip to the National Park and advised on onward travel. He even followed up to see if we got there alright. Sunila cooked very tasty breakfasts and served them in their own home. - something different every day, always traditional Kerala food. The location is in a quiet residential area, a bit away from the main roads. The bus station and main road is only a 10 minute walk away. Places to eat and shop are plentiful and close by.

The best part of my stay was the host/owner. He was so accommodating to my request for hot water every morning and to all answer any questions and always with a smile. As a solo woman traveler, I felt safe and secure being on his property. He even drove me on my last day to the bus stop. I believe what makes a homestay so great is the host and their ability to make you feel at home, which he did. Thank you. The location could not have been more perfect. I could walk everywhere and get what I needed just below the homestay. The room was a perfect size for me and oh so very cozy and clean. I had a deck and befriended many monkeys as they made their rounds every morning and early evening out on my deck. Several cafes close by and the bigger town is about a 10 minute walk next to the bus station. I loved staying there.

The reception and the nature of host. Always having a calm smile and guiding us for the local sight seeing. There is a restaurant near by (Mama's cafe). What an awesome food. Also Mr. Nitesh helped us book the ticket for that traditional Kerela fight and then Kathakali. He is very good. The place is very calm and room are very big along with toilets. A must stay for everyone. Thanks a lot Nitesh for making our stay at Kumily such a memorable one. Will visit again.

The host and his wife were both really lovely and helped us book the Rafting experience we wanted to do along with a Jeep Safari. The room we stayed in was also exceptionally clean and cosy and the location was close to anything you would need. Overall, really good stay

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this resort for 4 nights. However, when we got to the resort, we were welcomed with a welcome drink (ginger tea) and were led to our room - the mountain view room. As we had reached the resort past sunset, we didn't get to see anything from the balcony of our room as it was pitch dark outside. The room was excellent, it was a wooden cabin with almost ceiling to floor glass window panes. We woke up to the sound of bird calls and also some monkey hoots in the distance. We loved the serenity of the resort, even though it had only 13 rooms, it felt really upmarket and beautifully designed. The breakfast options were great, a good mix of south indian, north indian and western food options with fruit juices. Lunch and dinner options were good too. The resort managers (Mr. Prakash, Ms. Indu) and the staff at the restaurant were really welcoming and made our stay a good one. All in all, we highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a short getaway from your routine lives!
