The location makes it the best place to stay in Varanasi. Just next to the river you can use the back door to reach the river in less than a minute. It also has a roof top where you can view the river and the other side. I was able to. Wake up eary and see the sunrise, the boats and monkes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner showed me where to shope at and offered to hold my bag after check out.

The double room had a/c and a fan hot water which was very welcome after a sweaty day exploring the ghats They also serve food which was very tasty, and have some seating on the rooftop where there’s some plants. You can help teach the street children that come most days for a lesson if you have some ideas, which I unfortunately didn’t get time to do but can imagine would be quite rewarding.
