Just a beautiful place to stay and actually pretty close to the market, it is just down the road, maybe 5 minutes by car. The decoration inside the hotel is done by somebody with a lot of passion, I really enjoyed the decor. The pool is wonderful and in a beautifully well kept garden with all sorts of giant palms, bananas, etc. The breakfast area is also very nice and so are the breakfast choices. The hotel was beautiful. The staff was welcoming, accommodating and eager to assist. Upon our arrival, the General Manager made it a point to welcome us personally. His work ethic is indicative of the entire staff’s commitment. In my experience, management will ask the staff to complete menial tasks. At the Althoff, the GM will clear dishes, etc. The GM, Concierge, front desk staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping, etc were all committed to providing the best possible customer experience.
