Karatsu Seaside Hotel offers accommodation in Higashi Karatsu. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. The onsen pool on the rooftop was awesome. The spa facilities were huge. You need at least 2 days to enjoy all of them. The basic room without onsen was spacious with an ocean view. Breakfast and dinner at the buffet and restaurants were in good variety and quality with local ingredients. Will love to visit again

Situated just less than 1 km from Nishinohama Beach, Yoyokaku provides accommodation in Karatsu with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a housekeeping service. This is the best ryokan I have ever stayed in Japan. In the middle of the property there is a beautifully maintained Japanese garden, and we are given a room that opens out to the garden. We sleep very well on the comfortable futon and the space is quiet day and night. There is a gallery in the ryokan showcasing the works of a famous Karatsu family of potters, and artworks are displayed everywhere. The food, both breakfast and dinner, is superb. We have the opportunity to chat with the retired owner of the ryokan who lives on the premises. He and his wife are very kind and happy to interact with guests. The ryokan is very close to the sea and in the morning we take a walk along the beach, enjoying the coolness and the most beautiful light. We will definitely come again next time we visit the area. Set in Ureshino and only 33 km from Huis Ten Bosch, 奥武雄温泉 風の森 offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Guests staying at this ryokan have access to a balcony. Room was clean, comfortable and huge with in room private onsen, kaiseki dinner and breakfast was excellent, staffs are friendly, helpful, and exceptional service.

Situated 29 km from Huis Ten Bosch, Ureshino Yadoya offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as an open-air bath and a garden. Nice decor and new. Staff were helpful and courteous. Public Onsen was nice and mineral water silky smooth.

Situated in Saga, Tsukasa Ryokan features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Very clean. Good service. Cosy public bath..they had private bath which needed reservations.. Meals were very good.....location is beautiful. In the middle of the mountains....

Boasting an open-air bath and views of sea, Tara Dakeonsen Kanigoten is a recently renovated ryokan situated in Tara, 45 km from Peace Park. Room was clean, comfortable and huge with in room private onsen, bedroom and in room onsen with sea view, kaiseki seafood dinner and breakfast was excellent, staffs are friendly and helpful.

Situated in Takeo, a 10-minute drive from JR Takeo-Onsen Station, Urari Takeo Garden Terrace Spa Resorts boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. I was hesitant to book this resort initially as there was only 1 recent review when I booked, and the older reviews of the original hotel were not that good. However, I decided to take a chance and I'm so glad I did!!! The resort is newly renovated and all the furnishings and decor are all very clean and new. The resort location was ideal as I wanted to be located near Mifuneyama Rakuen so I could go see the Autumn colours at night (only 6 min drive away). The facilities on the resort were fantastic.... the spa pool required swimsuits which the resort thoughtfully prepared for each guest, all packed in individual tote bags. The hot spring pool was a a bit small, but the resort was not packed when we stayed, so there were no other people around when we used the spa pool or hot spring. But what impressed me the most has to be the amazing service we received. Most of the staff did not speak English or could only speak minimal English, but they always tried their best to understand our needs, and made us feel so comfortable. The staff's dedication and service quality are top-notch. The food was so amazing as well (The sukiyaki dinner and Japanese breakfast included in the stay were so good!)

Ureshino Motoyu offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 29 km of Huis Ten Bosch and 1.6 km of Hizen Yumekaido Ninja Village. they exceeded my expectations! room was beautiful, lots of space! super clean! good wifi! every day fresh tea and cookies in the room!!! helpful and kind staff! nothing negative! lastly free shuttle to the Ureshino JR station 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
