I loved our stay here, the small house was amazing and everything was super clean. The garden is spectacular just like in the photos. I booked with halfpension and both the Japanese breakfast and dinner (hotpot and BBQ) were delicious. The location is far from the center of Osaka, but we came for Mt. Koya which is easy to reach from the hotel with a paid shuttle service that was pretty cheap! There is also a free timed shuttle service to Izumi-chuo station though. I'd stay here if you want to relax, bike or hike!

Featuring free WiFi and a hot spring bath, Okumizuma Onsen offers accommodation in Kaizuka, 37 km from Osaka. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. The staff was kind and attentive, they immediately made us feel at home. It felt very luxurious, we wish we could have stayed a long time. The onsen was perfect, especially the indoor and outdoor hot baths. The food was good. The staff drove us to the bus station promptly at check out, which was so helpful!Okumizuma Onsen was perfect, and we hope to return!

Tranquil Japanese-style rooms offer river views, some from a private open-air bath.... Fudoguchikan was the highlight of our Japan Holiday. We stayed here the final night before leaving from Osaka as it is quite close to the airport (though feels worlds away!) We loved experiencing traditional Japanese accommodation and hospitality. The baths were spectacular- looking out over the river and cherry blossoms. We did a walk in the woods nearby (so beautiful) - it was lovely to experience parts of Japan away from the hustle of the big cities. The service was outstanding - really can’t fault our stay here!
