Room was partly western style and old japanese style designed with tatami mats, wallscrolls and futon beds. Very efficient, clean and spacious! The washing machine is directly in your booked room! I liked it! The whole hotel site is not manned. The check in and checkout worked fine, even without a vending machine! There was no breakfast included. Should you want to go out in the late night, it is best to talk to the staff beforehand. The checkout was simply done at the reception via self checkout machine. I liked the short stay there and I will definitely pay a visit again at harper house in Ôsaka!

Featuring a garden, a terrace, and a bar, Oukai Villa Izumi offers accommodation in Izumi with free WiFi and mountain views. The apartment features river views and is 40 km from Osaka. I loved our stay here, the small house was amazing and everything was super clean. The garden is spectacular just like in the photos. I booked with halfpension and both the Japanese breakfast and dinner (hotpot and BBQ) were delicious. The location is far from the center of Osaka, but we came for Mt. Koya which is easy to reach from the hotel with a paid shuttle service that was pretty cheap! There is also a free timed shuttle service to Izumi-chuo station though. I'd stay here if you want to relax, bike or hike!

Enjoyed the dinner and picturesque property provided by Nanten-en. It’s an old but well preserved ryokan nested in beautiful nature. Very thoughtful to have a humidifier that most properties don’t have!

Not much review on booking.com for this property , but really nice ! You guys must have a try ! Really appreciated !

At Fudoguchikan, guests can bathe in the open air, in a public hot-spring bath that boasts mountain and river views. Tranquil Japanese-style rooms offer river views, some from a private open-air bath.... This hotel includes an extensive dinner of many small courses in a private dining room. We were delighted with the extensive and beautiful offerings. We loved the cozy tatami room overlooking the flowing river. While we were out at dinner, our room was magically turned into a warm futons so we could sleep with the sound of the water. The onsen was lovely, with a cooler indoor soaking pool and a downstairs hotter outdoor pool (separated by gender). In the morning, we enjoyed an elaborate Japanese breakfast in a common breakfast room, but well separated from the other guests and beautifully attended by the attentive staff. More than anything, we appreciated how much they went out of the way to make us feel welcome. Two of the three members of our party were not Japanese speaking, but everyone was friendly and helpful. They clearly took the time to translate our menu into English so we could enjoy each course. Truly over and above. Want an uniquely Japanese experience that takes you away from the touristy city centres? This is the place to go.

Super quiet, 2minutes walk from osaka uehommachi. Direct access to Nara, airport, metro,... Room was super large and comfortable. Easy communication by email, just googletranslate the replies. Definitely recommended.

מלון קוראמוטו (Hotel Kuramoto) ממוקם במרחק של 600 מ' מתחנת הרכבת התחתית ניפונבאשי (Nipponbashi), ומציע חדרים יפניים ממוזגים עם אינטרנט אלחוטי חינם, רצפת טטאמי וחלוקי יוקאטה, מרחץ ציבורי עם מים חמים... Really enjoyed the bath at right temperature (not too hot). Staff was very professional and the facility relaxing.
