Nice quiet corner beside a river with running water sounds, beside a rice Paddy field facing mountain views. Breakfast is great, Japanese style with many small dishes serving. Imagine after a morning spring bath your breakfast is ready to serve you that feeling is so great.

This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Oita Bank Dome and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. Place was better than expected! Owner was a lovely lady who went out of her way to serve her guests and answer any questions. I wish I had the time to stay for longer to enjoy the town and the accommodations.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Yufuin Onsen Tsukanoma is situated in Yufu, 43 km from Oita Bank Dome and 1.8 km from Kinrinko Lake. The private onsen in the room was exceptional and the size of the room was way beyond. Great service.

Close to train station, walking around 5 min hotel is very comfy and staff friendly, breakfast in western style and delicious, really love this place will be back again when visit Yufuin. Boasting mountain views, Ikkoten provides accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a shared lounge, around 45 km from Oita Bank Dome. The location and serenity were like none other. The staff was so kind and provided an incredible atmosphere. The food was 12/10, I would go back just to try more seasonal favorites.

Situated in Hita, Okuhita Onsen Umehibiki offers 5-star accommodation with a garden and a bar. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has an open-air bath, as well as a sauna and a hot spring bath.... This is my best accommodation experience in Japan over the years. They made every effort to ensure that guests understood the hotel's details and services, even though not all of the staff spoke foreign languages fluently. Comfortable rooms, breathtaking views, and a personal hot spring are highlights. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals. A dedicated private room was available during dinner. Visit again for sure.

Situated 41 km from Kinrinko Lake, Sanso Tensui offers 4-star accommodation in Hita and features an open-air bath, a garden and a terrace. This was an actual 10/10 stay. The hotspring baths are amazing, the rooms are beautiful, the staff goes above and beyond and the food is quite the experience. If you come here i would also recommend checking out the bar. The bartender is very nice and made us some amazing cocktails. I can recommend his "rose petal mojito".

Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. The indoor and outdoor private onsen.

AMANE resort GAHAMA features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 24 km of Oita Bank Dome and 4.4 km of Beppu Station. This is one of the best hotels we've stayed at in Japan. The room is huge and spotless. We had the private onsen with a fantastic sea view. The staff is very friendly and some of them can speak English. Breakfast has a lot of variety, a mix of Japanese and Western food. Highly recommend staying here!
