Ubytovanie Shikinosato Hanamura sa nachádza v destinácii Minamioguni 39 km od miesta Kaldera Aso a 47 km od miesta Jazero Kinrinko. It was super comfortable to stay here, staff service, facilities, breakfast and dinner were all great. Is a good place to relax.

Ubytovanie Syukubo Aso sa nachádza v destinácii Aso 33 km od miesta Štadión Egao Kenko Kumamoto a 42 km od miesta Hrad Kumamoto. The venue itself is stunning, an old Samurai house, very ancient and cool. The staff were incredible, very attentive to every request- including building an entire vegetarian menu (!!!) with local ingredients for my wife (we did notify beforehand). The food overall in the dinners was outstanding, we stayed for two nights and had two completely different dishes. The private onsen was amazing, just what you need after a long day out.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. Clean, tasty food, beautiful onsen, this place is a real gem! Looking forward to visit again!

Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan features 5 hot-spring baths, including a 30-metre long cave bath. We spent 3 nights at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihonbashi Kayabacho hotel after arriving in Japan (There is another Fresa Inn in the area, so make sure this is where you have your reservation). It is a relatively modern, functional hotel sometimes referred to as a business hotel.  The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very small as is typical in Tokyo but very clean and functional.  The hotel is convenient to Tokyo station (20 minutes walking as a reference). After arriving on the Narita Express or by others means to Tokyo station, follow signs to the Tozai line (sky blue) subway. The easiest way to know which direction to go is to look at the numbers representing the stops.  The Tokyo station stop at Otemachi is T-9 and you want to go to T-7 Kayabacho. Leave the Kayabacho subway station via Exit 7 and the hotel is just around the corner.  From Kayabaco or the nearby Nihonbashi station, you can get all around Tokyo on the highly efficient subway system.  Use a Suica, Welcome Suica or Pasmo card to enter and exit subways and avoid the hassle of figuring out which ticket to buy or how much they coat. Just tap and go.  Enjoy. Kokura,Onsen EXPERIENCE JAPAN LIKE THE JAPANESE We decided to spend a couple of days in central Kyushu to enjoy a traditional Japanese ryokan experience. Boy, was that a great call! I88We stayed at the Yama no Yado Shinmeikan  in the Kokura Onsen area, which is an hour north of Aso city by bus. The ryokan is 130 years old but is clean and well-maintained. It features a total of 5 unique onsens, including one carved into a cave.  The ambiance is terrific and the staff is super friendly and helpful.  The ryokan is located along a flowing river and the sound of running water adds to the relaxing quality of the stay.  (The Fuji room is best). All accommodations are traditional Japanese tatami rooms which are made up for sleep each night by the staff as you enjoy the onsen baths.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Great location amidst the mountains of kumamoto prefecture, with the river it makes for a beautiful scenery. The onsens are great and there is even a swimming pool if you just want to exercise. Food is good, it’s nice to experience a traditional diner and breakfast.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Everything... the atmosphere, serenity, lovely room, beautiful onsen baths, good food, heavenly gardens, helpful and friendly staff. It was the quintessential traditional Japanese cultural experience.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... There's pick-up service from the nearby bus station. The service is very good, they even helped to keep your shoes. The view from the room is very nice, and the room is spacious and comfortable.

Surrounded by forest, tranquil Yamashinobu features public and private hot spring baths, an astronomical observatory and a piano. Excellent and friendly service. Had to request the hotel to send help due to car being stuck in snow. We'll thought of touches to the rooms.
