The food was amazing, quality and quantity. It seemed like the longer we stayed, the more we were treated. The private onsen rooms were fabulous, too. We went several times each day!

We were extremely fortunate to stay in the Choseiden cottage. The very generous layout and views over the garden towards the faraway mountains, the scrolls, the paintings, the wooden furniture of this once tea house, not too forget the private bath (“Onsen”) with its glass panel onto the forest were exquisite. The staff were most helpful and kind. Very warm thoughts go to Reina who brought us our meals and guided us through the intricacies of the local cuisine, while answering with a joyful warmth our relentless barrage of questions about Japanese culture and herself. A stay which will linger!

El Shodoshima International Hotel está muy bien situado a solo 3 minutos a pie del famoso lugar turístico de Angel Road y cuenta con una pileta exterior de temporada y baños termales naturales. staff are very helpful, location is perfect and the room was a nice balance between Japanese and western. Loved the outdoor Onsen!

El Toramaru Ryokan se encuentra en Kotohira, a 800 metros del santuario de Kotohiragu, y ofrece alojamiento con salón compartido, estacionamiento privado gratuito y jardín. The location and the staff are wonderful. It’s a bicycle friendly ryokan: no problem to store our bikes inside by the reception.

El Kikuya Ryokan ofrece habitaciones en Tonosho, a 1,7 km de la iglesia católica de Shodoshima y a 2,5 km del templo Honkaku-ji. Great value for money, located right by the port, with great access to the rest of the island. The host was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to help, despite the langugage barrier (which with a little google translate, really isn't so much a barrier nowadays anyway). Also, I received a free room upgrade! Who can complain!

El Kiyomisanso Hanajyukai se encuentra en Takamatsu, a 3,4 km de Sunport Takamatsu y a 3,6 km de Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, y ofrece alojamiento con salón compartido, conexión wifi gratis en todas... The staff are exceptionally nice. They tried the best to make me feel like home and they made it. They speak Japanese slowly with gesture so that even a foreigner can understand and appreciate. The bath facilities are so good that I can do that all day.
