Located in Hanamaki, 29 km from Morioka, Kashoen features a hot spring bath and sauna. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Five star service in a five star ryokan. Worth the price. Free yukata with different sizes and design available for guests. Very peaceful ryokan. Wish we could stay longer to explore the surrounding nature. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast was amazing. Staff was so attentive to our requests and took the time asking about our dietary requirements. Massage chairs available for guests to use. Loved the Indoor and outdoor public bath. Highly recommended for those who wants a luxury ryokan experience.

Nastanitev Apikogen Mori no Hotel s 3 zvezdicami je v mestu Hachimantai, 46 km od znamenitosti železniška postaja Morioka, in ima skupni prostor za druženje. Amazing breakfast and dinner - we were never hungry! There was even an option to have a late-night meal from 9 to 10 pm. The reception was very friendly and even with limited English, they went out of their way to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. There was a shuttle bus to and from Appi Kogen ski resort and the train station. However, these need to be booked beforehand.

Fantastic value for money. Great food, awesome Onsens. It's very traditional though. Beds are Futon style and there are no showers in the rooms. You have to shower in the Onsen.

Friendly and welcoming hospitality. The location was fabulous and the rooms were clean. Delicious array of dishes for the buffet. We really enjoyed the New Year’s Day firework exhibit and the fact that we could access the slopes straight from the hotel✨
