Th location was perfect I was on a work trip to research about the tsunami of 2011.　　The n伊ghtI stayed they had a guest speaker who gave a presentation in Japanese on what happened in Kamaishi on the day of the tsunami which I enjoyed.

Massage chairs available for guests to use. Loved the Indoor and outdoor public bath. Highly recommended for those who wants a luxury ryokan experience.

Apikogen Mori no Hotel ligger i Hachimantai, 46 km fra Morioka Station, 70 m fra skisportsstedet Appi Kogen og 31 km fra Iwate-Numakunai Station. Der er udendørs bad og fælles opholdsstue. Amazing breakfast and dinner - we were never hungry! There was even an option to have a late-night meal from 9 to 10 pm. The reception was very friendly and even with limited English, they went out of their way to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. There was a shuttle bus to and from Appi Kogen ski resort and the train station. However, these need to be booked beforehand.

Fantastic value for money. Great food, awesome Onsens. It's very traditional though. Beds are Futon style and there are no showers in the rooms. You have to shower in the Onsen.

We really enjoyed the New Year’s Day firework exhibit and the fact that we could access the slopes straight from the hotel✨
