We loved this place it was a lifesaver! I had initially booked for just 2 nights and was staying in the city of Sapporo near Ondori park before then, it was a nightmare, from our hotel to finding parking alone terrible experience. My husband and I had to leave immediately and we called Auberge Ninguruforet to see if we could extend our stay and it was the best decision, we loved how accommodating they were to take us in at such short notice. We were so happy, our first night here was a complete transformation of our moods, after having endured such stress. The location of the property, it is truly the most beautiful town in Japan! The cabin so cute and cozy! It was just so perfect!! We got to relax and unwind enjoying the view and did some sightseeing at our leisure which was all so conveniently nearby. We had dinner and breakfast on our lastnight and it was simply delicious and so beautifully prepared. Words can’t begin to describe how truly happy we were with our stay here!

Excellent location by the falls and the Blue Pond, easy access, as well as for visiting the area. We had a car but if you request ahead of time they have a shuttle. This is an older traditional inn with a great open-air bath. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, all works well. Staff is friendly and helpful, spoke some English. Price is reasonable. Food was ok. We were a little worried because of negative reviews but then it was a good surprise! We would definitely go back and recommend this hotel.

For nature and hiking lovers this is the best place. We traveled Hokkaido to the far north, but here is the most snow and the food and onsen are beautiful as the mountains. Will rent snow shoes today and go up the mountain. The house, which has the spirit of an alp- mountain hut- is old and built around the Onsen, which is all natural water and giant stones, grown by moss inside and outside of the pools

The highest hotel and Onsen in Hokkaido, this place felt special and perfect for winter. The Onsen was amazing, and the staff was super nice and helpful. I did a snow shoe trek to a frozen waterfall and the guide (Aono-san) was the best guide I could've asked for. It was tough but worth every second. I had a wonderful time here and the best birthday of my life.
