Every room at this ryokan is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Certain units have a seating area where you can relax. You will find a kettle in the room. Extras include slippers, free toiletries and a hair dryer.

From the moment you drive up until the moment you drive off the staff make it their mission to make you feel like the only customer there. They label themselves as a hotel and resort and resort they are! Your every want, need and wish is met before you even know you need it. My partner and I speak limited and quite broken Japanese and a few of the staff had conversational English which was a huge help for us especially dissecting the dinner/breakfast. We book a room with private bath and loved the convenience and experience, unlike anything we’ve had before. I 100% suggest the half board option(traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner included)!the meals are very well thought out and delicious!

Overall The hotel was absolutely incredible. A great ryokan experience with extremely friendly and courteous staff who often went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We were served by Sora Tatebayashi who was absolutely incredible and extremely helpful and everyone at the hotel was friendly and thoughtful. If you are looking for a great ryokan experience with amazing onsens and facilities, I highly recommend Hotel Tenbo and make sure to get the room with the mountain view! View and location A truly breathtaking view of Mt Fuji from our room. Highly recommended to stay in the room with the mountain view. The location was great and was very close to the Izu panorama park and the hotel also offers drop off and pick up at Igu Nagoaka Station. I really enjoyed the outdoor onsen at the back of the accommodation. It provides full privacy and unlimited accessibility. The accommodation unit is spacious, and beds are comfortable. The meals were authentic and delicious in decent portion as well. It's relevant smooth to navigate from Tokyo city to this location using public transport.

We visited this onsen hotel last year. This year we came to this hotel again to join a day of onsen. It was very relax and peaceful. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious, a lot of variety and everything was very tasty. The room is small but very cozy. I had the same experience as last year and my family loves this onsen hotel.

A wonderful Ryokan with a giant garden - the room was huge with a nice little private garden and a water stream - the private onsen was ready to jump in and is big enough to enjoy - The installation of the Hotel is unique and you have to be ready to walk some distances - The Staff was really nice and no problem to communicate with - Food is delicious and not in the big quantities as most other Ryokans
