The staff were excellent, they did not deduct any resort fee and the parking was free. The pool, hot bath and surroundings were extremely clean. The room, bathroom etc was clean and the room had a balcony facing the garden. All together, it exceeded our expectations.

The details on the Booking.com site really undersell the property. There are beautiful sunsets and the grounds are lovely to walk in. The property does have an independently run restaurant and bar on site. Close to the Waimea Canyon, so you can get a morning head start on other visitors.

Less than 1 mile from Poipu Beach Park and Shipwreck Beach, this 70-acre resort at the southern tip of Kauai features outdoor pools and apartments with full kitchens. Front Desk Staff (Mae and Kaysha) were exceptionally helpful--always smiling/friendly, gave good advice re: places to go, dining, etc.---They were amazing! When there were technical problems in the room (TV, internet, etc.), and maintenance was called, they came in record time (usually 5 minutes or less!!)--have been places where you wouldn't get service for a day or two--this was exceptional service! Liked that you could get DVDs to watch for free--provided something to do in the evenings.

The apartment was perfect for 2 - fully equipped with everything we needed, spacious rooms, and the balcony overlooking the beautiful garden with view of the ocean. It was one of the buildings closest to the main road, but was still pretty calm and quiet. The beach was a 3-min walk through the resort, and we also had Poipu beach just 5-10 mins away on foot. The cafe across the road served us well, and the proximity of the shopping village was also very convenient. The access to the athletic club was also nice to have.
