They close one night per week/ make sure you come on a night they’re open.

Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. The grounds and the room were both beautiful. It is in a quiet area with a great shower and great Wi-Fi. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool with a furnished terrace, Hotel Cuevas is located on a rustic building with modern décor and that is nestled in the picturesque village of Santillana del Mar. Perfect service, very nice staff, recommended options (garage vs. free parking outside, or small breakfast served in the room for less €€ than standard buffet breakfast). They even gave us an unexpected chocolate present. Just wonderful.

This typically-Cantabrian hotel is surrounded by verdant lawns, just 300 metres from the bars, restaurants and shops of Suances, on Spain’s Green Coast. Suances Beach is 250 metres away. Staff was friendly and professional. check in and out super easy. Room and bathroom are roomy and clean. The parking was easy. The hotel has a nice cozy feel to it with a car theme. The bartender makes a great mojito and I’ve been to Cuba where I’ve had plenty. Since we were there in the off season we had to eat in the hotel and the dinner was amazing and the breakfast buffet had lots of options to choose from. Definitely would stay here again.

For people who avoid gluten, you need to bring your own products.
