A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, right at the shore of Lake Wörthersee and just steps away from the casino, Schlosshotel Velden includes an award-winning spa (open all year long), an... we really liked the breakfast, it had lots of food choices so that everybody could have what they wanted to have. my daughter, who is normally a very picky eater, even found lots of food that she really loved!

Rooms 73 - Helga Bartos is located in Pörtschach am Wörthersee, only 500 metres from the lakeshore. It features a garden with a terrace, and bicycles are provided free of charge. Very nice owner, they was so kind.

Enjoying a peaceful location next to the forest, Hotel Garni Frühstückspension Neff features a large garden with a sun terrace, and offers rooms with a balcony and a view over Lake Wörthersee. very pleased with the variety and quality of breakfast. the host mrs neff is very friendly and kind to support extra wishes of guests (accomodating an early breakfast)

Offering a private beach, Seehotel Astoria in Pörtschach is located right on the shore of Lake. Fantastic "classic style" hotel directly connected to the lake even with apartments "over the water" and a lot of own beach facilities. Offers private charging for electric (or plug in hybrid) cars

Situated just an 8-minute walk from Pörtschach's centre, Pension Kitty offers a large garden with sun loungers. The free Edelweiss swimming area in Lake Wörthersee is 350 metres away. Extremely friendly staff, home-like feeling and treatment! The owner offered freshly baked muffins, he makes sure everything is perfect keeps asking to ensure that. Very pleasant experience to be repeated!

The family-run Biogasthaus Wanker is peacefully situated in Hadanig close to Techelsberg and the Wörther Lake. It offers free internet access, free parking and meals prepared from organic products. Nice place, especially courtyard. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but we enjoyed.

The Seehotel Das JO. in Pörtschach offers a private beach with deck chairs and sunshades right on the shore of Lake Wörth, only a few metres away. I liked the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, the welcome extended to my puppy, who found a bed and a blanket as well as water and food bowls. The breakfast was excellent. I also liked the proximity to the city center and hiking trails. It was really great and would use that hotel again.

Hotel Post Wrann is a traditional hotel with over 200 years of history right in the centre of Velden, only a few steps from the casino and Lake Wörthersee. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel. The hotel is excellent, beautifully furnished, exceptionally large rooms with a spacious bathroom and lovely balcony right in the heart of Velden. The spa is very nice and the breakfast was tasty with a wide range of options available. The restaurant is very good and we ate lunch and dinner there also and it was very good. We also took advantage of the free bicycle option and cycled all the way around Lake Worthersee, a very nice trip. Expensive but standard for the location. We didn't use the lake access but were given passes if we had wanted to do so.

Surrounded by forests and meadows, Das Landhaus Hauptmann is located in beautiful surroundings above Pörtschach, offering fantastic views of Lake Wörth. Great location. Excellent breakfast. Endearingly polite staff.
