Located directly at the shore of Lake Traun, Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt offers a private beach area and rooms with free Wi-Fi. We did arrive late and were still able to order proper dinner which we appreciated very much. One of us got a wonderful upgrade; yet we all enjoyed the quietness and beautiful surrounding very much! Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl. Exceptional service. Location beautiful. Great restaurant next door. Wonderfully clean rooms. Nothing was too much.

Just 1,000 metres from the Toscana Congress Centre and Seeschloss Palace, the Aktivhotel Wildschütz in Salzkammergut was renovated in 2015 and offers quiet rooms with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi and... very good self check in. excellent sauna and steam room with an outside area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the wood, modern architecture mixed with classic mountain hut vibe.

Located in the centre of Altmünster, this hotel was renovated in March 2017 and is only 200 metres from the Traunsee lake and the promenade. Very nice hotel and rooms, with friendly staff, very good breakfast.

Offering panoramic lake and mountain views, Seehotel Schwan is located directly on the main square in the centre of Gmunden, only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Traun. Huge room with a great view, breakfast was good and the staff was enchanting. The location couldn't be more central. Great connections to anywhere

This 4 star hotel is set in the centre of Traunkrichen. The hotel offers accommodation with lake views, a restaurant, a terrace and a garden. Very good location, the private parking (at a fee) makes things a bit easier. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was exceptional, a la carte dinner was really great too. Extra bed for the kids made things easier.

Set in Altmünster, 30 km from Kaiservilla, Hocheck offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Excellent and comfy beds, very clean rooms and the whole hotel. The view from the window was amazing. Close to the beach - about 10-15 minutes walking. Very friendly staff!
