This is a really good hotel, excellent in every way but I will especially mention the facilities for those travelling by bicycle - it has a dedicated, locked storage room for bikes with power sockets for charging e-bikes.

Our stay at Erlachmühle in early October was truly enchanting. The rooms provided a remarkable experience, being notably clean, well-organized, and welcoming, suggesting recent renovation. This property, with deep roots in tradition, has remained in the same family for at least three generations. Additionally, the adjacent building owned by the same family houses one of the few remaining operational mills in the region, with records dating back to 1416. The emphasis on regional production and the organic quality of the food offered at the hotel is noteworthy, ensuring an exceptionally tasty gastronomic experience. The breakfast deserves special mention, featuring a variety of traditional breads, smoked fish, regional charcuterie, and cheeses that celebrate the local culinary richness. The attention and joy displayed by the owning family and the entire staff made our stay even more enjoyable. It was a true pleasure to meet them. Furthermore, it's important to highlight that the hotel offers on-site parking at no additional cost. The journey to the establishment is an experience in itself, with winding curves unfolding amid a stunning landscape. This natural beauty can be easily appreciated from the guest room windows and the open area near the breakfast room. The property's location is strategic, with nearby amenities such as a Billa supermarket just a 4-minute drive away, McDonald's a 3-minute drive away, and a gas station a 3-minute drive away. Additionally, the center of Mondsee is only a 6-minute drive away. Despite this convenient proximity, the hotel manages to provide a tranquil, private atmosphere and an exceptional connection with nature. In summary, Erlachmühle is an excellent place to enjoy a revitalizing weekend or as a starting point for exploring the region, which is filled with stunning lakes and spectacular mountain landscapes.

The pension is ideally situated, a short walk from the Lakeside, the city center, and the bus terminal. The owners and staff are friendly. Rooms are nice appointed and very clean. I like the eco-friendly promotions.

Clean, good sized room, nice staff, has a terrace with a small playground for children, close to Mondsee lake, has bike storage. Nice breakfast. Enough parking.

Frukosten var okey, saknade något grövre bröd/bullar och lite mer hotellkänsla, så som äggröra och bacon, kanske även någon liten variation när man är på samma ställe i flera nätter. Möjligheten fanns att låna glas och annat från köket vilket upplevdes väldigt bra. Sköna sängar och trevligt med möjlighet till balkong. Stort fint gym som även verkade användas av områdets boende, vilket så klart skapar möjlighet till ett mer "riktigt" gym, smart! Pool och bastu, som var fräscht och fint! I stort var det ett väldigt öppet och tillåtande ställe. Trots att det fanns pool, stort område att vistas i osv. så fanns ingen som helst förbudsinfo eller liknande. Området togs väl omhand och personalen var enormt välkomnande. Mysigt med alla djur och omgivningen var fantastisk.
