There is a beautiful view and restaurant area. We ate dinner and had the free breakfast (noodle soup with vegetables and egg from their farm). We were the only ones in the dorm room. The room is basic but this is how they live, we slept fine. We had a hot shower. It was clean. The host speaks English but the families don't, so you're not able to really communicate, but you are able to see them and observe and they are welcoming and friendly. We were doing the Hà Giang loop. This place was great for us because we were looking for a more authentic experience, we didn't want to be with a majority of tourists, which can easily happen when doing the loop.
