Free Wi-Fi access is available. Our family of 5 often chooses properties with kitchens, so I usually bring half my kitchen(pan, spatulas, tongs, rice maker, whatever I feel I’ll need for the meal plan I arrange) because I have never found a kitchen stocked with anything more than the cheap, bare minimum essentials. THIS property had it all covered! It was fully stocked with quality items(sharp knives, All clad pans, etc). I was impressed! The beds felt new and very comfortable. The a\c worked well, keeping our loft cool and the downstairs bedrooms extra cool… sufficient blankets were provided to keep our downstairs dwellers cozy. And the pillows… this place is fully stocked if you love pillows like we do. Our cabin was an end unit with a wrap around deck stocked with plenty of furniture to enjoy outside time and a decent grill to cook on. The deck has no stairs, so it felt safe from critters at night. We ate dinner on the deck each night and had deer walking under and around us. We had a view was of the sunset, mountain, and down one of the black diamond runs. Many activities were available each day, for free or a small fee depending on which one. A giant bonfire and what we called Sasquatch Ladder Ball were some evening activities we enjoyed at the property. We will definitely return to this property in the winter for skiing!

Everything was good but would be nice to have pool and sauna and hot tub open till 10pm not 8pm and if restaurant would be open every night. We were resort owners and these are the things I suggest and would think could improve it.
The view of the lake, you don't realize how busy the port of Duluth is. There were ships leaving and you could watch there progress from the comfort of your room. Duluth has a very good variety of eating places.. location of resort makes getting to these places easy. Just get on Superior Street head south till you get to where you want to eat or drink. Surprise the traffic was light very easy getting around. Save room for the Smores when you get back. We were here in March. Summer traffic is very busy.
The floor to ceiling windows and decor had a clean luxury feel to it!
So the Sonder was an awesome find! Just needed a quick 2 night stay in St Paul's & found this gem. Brand new building with mini lovely luxury style rooms. Mine had a super stylish microwave that I'd like in my home! ;-) The building is super quiet so I slept well. Shower had that stone vibe so its a cute bathroom. Staff is nice & friendly. You enter the building & your room with code so it's super safe. If I was in St Paul's again, this is where I would stay.
Love the location and the resort. We wish the weather would have been nicer as we were planning on biking. We made the best of the situation and had a great time!
The hotel room was cute and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast at the hotel cafe was tasty. We could watch the chef handle three orders of crepes at once. The coffee was good. The hotel is conveniently right off highway 2. I expected trucks at night to be noisy but did not have any problems sleeping and did not need to resort to the earplugs the hotel provides.
We liked that the cabin was really beautiful, clean and comfortable for our family. The resort was quiet and nice ammenities, especially fond of access to lake view. We didn't try the restaurant although the menu looked good. Cute gift shop, unfortunately it was closed on our attempts to buy a sweatshirt.
Great resort in a very beautiful area of Minnesota. Resort provides a great base for exploring. Quality food & beverage on site. *Dog friendly
The view of the lake, when people took showers the whole resort smelled like spit. The main woman there was not very helpfull
