I chose Chimney Corners Resort as the place to celebrate my partner Jennifer's 50th Birthday and also to propose to her after eight years together as a couple. We stayed at the West Hills 1 cabin, which was directly across the street from Crystal Lake, and had a lakeview out of our living room window. The cabin was well-appointed, very clean and cozy, and came with all of the kitchen amenities (including a large coffee maker). The bed was very comfortable. It is perfectly located on Crystal Lake, and we had Jenn's birthday dinner at Rocks Landing, which was literally right across the street from our cabin. The place is also close to Lake Michigan beaches at Frankfort, where there was plenty of restaurants and a grocery store for supplies. In addition, it is less than an hour drive from Traverse City, where we got some great Cornish pasties and then drove up the Peninsula that divides East and West Grand Traverse Bay (which was fun to explore!). I would highly recommend Chimney Corners Resort as a perfect getaway for couples, and we definitely plan on returning there again, as our stay was fantastic!

This beachfront hotel on Lake Huron features private lake access and free WiFi access in every guest room. Ferries to Mackinac Island can be reached in 10 minutes’ drive. Hotel very pretty, very clean and staff Friendly!! Definitely would recommend this place!!

Sugar Beach Resort features a private beach, the pool and hot tub will be closed April 21 reopening 26 at 4pm, and a complimentary breakfast. Guest rooms offer beach or courtyard views. Right on the beach and had a pool

Silver Sandsi kuurort asub Silver Lake'i järve ääres ning pakub vaateid Silver Lake'i liivaluidetele. Kohapeal on hooajaline välibassein. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja eraparkla. Such a nice place to stay. Staff was welcoming and kind. Would go back in a heart beat!

Eraranna ja veespordivahenditega Tawas Bay Beach Resort & Conference Center asub East Tawas. Kuurordis on sisebassein, mullivann ja kuivsaun. the breakfast was good,the dinner the night before was good too. the wait staff did a great job. We will definitely will stay there again. The location was great because you could walk to the downtown area from the resort!!
