Explore out at the renowned Enchantment Resort, offering an unparalleled experience set within the spectacular vistas of Boynton Canyon. Dinner on the patio on our first night was magical, with ever-changing views of the clouds and hills as the sun set behind us. Our waiter, Matt, was a pure delight (as were all others during our stay). The food was spectacular. From the property, we set out on three hikes and one guided bike ride (shout out to George - he was amazing and a great coach!). Do not miss the gorgeous hike out to Devil's Bridge (the trailhead is a short drive away)! Start early - so peaceful. A bit challenging at the end, but so worth it! We also enjoyed the Trail House and talking to the knowledgeable staff.

Located in Scottsdale, 19 km from Copper Square, Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. We chose this hotel based on the size (a little smaller than the larger chains) and location. We went primarily to relax and golf. The service was top notch everywhere in the hotel. It was very clean, bright and easy to get around. The pool was very comfortable and relaxing. The view of Camelback Mountain was a bonus! Our room faced the mountain and into the courtyard, so not only was it beautiful it was quiet. I personally wouldn't have wanted a room facing the pool. The room was spacious and very clean. I liked having the safe and coffee maker in there to use. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our breakfast every morning at Hearth 61. There was a lot of variety and everything we had was absolutely delicious. The wait staff were amazing. We had wanted to try breakfast at Rusty's one day but kept being pulled back to the Hearth. If we go again I would try to get a package that included breakfast as it could get a little pricey. However, it was well worth the $$. I enjoy going to the gym most days and I really liked their facility. It had a wide variety of cardio and resistance equipment, including a large room where they offer classes. I didn't take a class, but used the room for my own workout and I also used their spin bikes in there. There were a few weddings & conferences over the course of our week, but it didn't bother us with regards to number of people or noise. Mind we, we were gone golfing most days. We played the Short Course (par 3) at Mountain Shadows and thoroughly enjoyed it. So much so, we played 36 holes there one day. We had rented a car and were able to park it in their lot for free. The golf courses we played were all within 10-20 minutes away. There were also a number of great restaurants within 5-10 minutes. We would definitely consider returning here if we come back to Phoenix.

Set in Cottonwood, 25 km from Cliff Castle Casino, Highlands Resort at Verde Ridge offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Everything was great. We loved everything about this place. Very clean and just what we needed for our anniversary getaway.

Hacienda del Sol Guest Ranch Resort in Tucson has an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour front desk, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. The grounds and rooms are exceptional. It’s a unique venue in a beautiful location. The rooms aren’t just your standard hotel room, they really have a unique feel. A couple highlights - the complimentary waters, having a pool open 24hrs and the small box of goodies waiting in the room with a card to congratulate us on our anniversary.

Situated in Tombstone, Arizona, this rustic accommodation is 30 miles from the Dragoon Mountains in Cochise County. Location was great, but we did not eat.

Located 5 miles from the Tucson International Airport, this modern Arizona resort offers on-site dining, a casino, and a sparkling outdoor pool. All stylish guest accommodations include free Wi-Fi. It was the first time staying there. We were pleasantly surprised. The check in process was expedite. The restaurants offered a good variety of dishes to choose from. The Casino facilities are vast and clean. The covered parking is very convenient for this time of year. Definitely will come back.

Adjacent to Rancho Mañana Golf Club and Tonto Bar and Grill, we’re located in the desert foothills of Cave Creek. Beautiful setting with fantastic amenities and super clean.

This resort is on the White Mountain Trail System and is 3 miles from Pinetop. The resort offers a miniature golf course and suites with a fully equipped kitchen. The cabin was very clean and organized. They provided everything we needed to stay and a few extras.

This resort in Sedona is a 30-minute drive to Out of Africa Wildlife Park. The resort features an outdoor pool with 2 jacuzzis and courtyard area with a fire pit. The room was beautiful, full kitchen with granite countertops, Bed was so cozy! This location can't be beat. No need to drive to begin the most beautiful hike through the red mountains. In an ideal location between the prestigious area of Biltmore and Scottsdale city centre, the Royal Palms Resort & Spa , part of Hyatt is a beautiful hideaway resort. Beautiful, luxurious resort that impresses from the moment you drive up. The Arcadia Villa was huge, super comfortable, and felt like basically renting a whole residence without a kitchen. Staff, other than the person who first checked us in, was very friendly and helpful.
