The staff went above and beyond, helping me organize a trip to Si Satchanalai, providing me with tasty (and varying) breakfasts, and making my stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this family-owned hotel!

Located in the Mueang Kao district of Sukhothai, Phu Thai Resort is 1.6 km from Sukhothai Historical Park. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This was one of our most memorable stays in Thailand. First and foremost, cleanliness was impeccable, a crucial aspect for me. The bed was not only super comfortable but also spacious. The owner, one of the nicest individuals we met on our trip, genuinely cared about our experience in his home. He regularly checked if we were content with our stay. They even had free snacks, which was a nice bonus. We could borrow bicycles to explore Sukhothai which turned out to be so much fun. The old town and historical park were just a comfortable 7-8 minute ride away from the resort, yet located in a quiet street. The location couldn't have been more perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The boss lady Nok had limited English, but very kind and thoughtful. Her generosity made me feel at home and the breakfast was excellent. The free bikes were so nice to have available.

Our bus from Bangkok arrived at Sukhothai at 04:30 AM instead of 07:50. (Warning to anyone booking the 20:30-07:50 bus, this is a normal thing apparently and you can count on it arriving at this time) We ended up waking them from their sleep, but they were so welcoming and did all our check in then and there. The room was super clean and the bathroom had great water pressure. The pool outside the room was very clean and great for cooling off in the hot weather. Rented a motorbike from them too and had zero issues with that. They also sell cat treats for the many cats in the area that like to lounge outside, which I loved! The location is very close to the Saturday night market, and just inside the main road to get to all the major places in Sukhothai. Overall such a nice stay for a couple, and would highly recommend!
